How MIRA collects, uses and protects your information.
MIRA (“MIRA,” “we,” “us”) operates the MIRA virtual try-on application and the website at bymira.ai. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We are committed to complying with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and other applicable laws.
Information we collect
- Photos you upload — the images you choose to try garments on, processed to generate your try-on result.
- Garment links and images — the product URLs or garment photos you provide.
- Purchase records — whether you hold an active subscription or credit balance. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive or store your card details.
- Basic usage & device data — app version, device type, and diagnostics, to keep the service reliable.
- Email address — only if you contact us for support.
How we use your information
- To generate the virtual try-on images you request.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the app and website.
- To manage your subscription or credit balance.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.
Your photos
Your photos are yours. We use them to produce the try-on images you ask for, and we do not sell them or use them to advertise to you. Generated try-on images are removed from our storage automatically after 30 days, and you can request deletion at any time.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers to run MIRA. They act on our instructions under contractual confidentiality obligations:
- RevenueCat, Inc. — manages subscriptions, credit purchases and entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and the purchase records returned by Apple or Google. It does not receive your photos, and it does not receive your payment card details.
- Apple and Google — process all payments and handle refunds under their own privacy policies. MIRA never receives or stores your card details.
- Cloud hosting and AI processing providers — store and process the images needed to generate the try-on you requested.
Sharing
We share personal data only with the service providers named above, under contractual confidentiality, or where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention & security
Try-on images are deleted automatically 30 days after they are generated. Other personal data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymized. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
Affiliate links
Some product links shown in MIRA may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase. This never changes the price you pay. Affiliate activity is handled through third-party networks subject to their own terms.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email aj@bymira.ai.
Children
MIRA is not directed to children under the age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
