Using MIRA

What does MIRA do?

You give MIRA a garment — by pasting a product link from an online store, or uploading a photo of the item — and a photo of yourself. MIRA then generates an image showing approximately how that piece might look on you.

How do I make a try-on?

Open the app, pick a garment (paste a link or upload a photo), then add your own photo. Tap through and the try-on is generated in about 15–30 seconds. You'll get a notification when it's ready if notifications are enabled.

What kind of photo of myself works best?

Which stores can I paste links from?

Most mainstream fashion retailers work. If a link fails, the product page may block automated access or the image may be hard to read — upload a photo of the garment instead, which always works.

Try-on quality

Try-on images are AI-generated approximations. They are a visualisation, not a photograph of the real item and not a guarantee of fit, size, colour, fabric or availability. Always check the retailer's own size guide and product details before buying.

The result doesn't look like me

Likeness depends heavily on the photo you provide. Try a closer, better-lit shot where your face is clearly visible. Regenerating usually produces a different result — the process is not deterministic.

The garment looks wrong

Complex prints, sheer fabrics, layered outfits and unusual silhouettes are the hardest cases. A clear, front-facing image of the garment on a plain background gives the best result.

Can I regenerate a try-on?

Yes. Use Regenerate on the result screen. Each regeneration uses one try-on from your balance.

Credits & plans

How many free try-ons do I get?

Every account gets a set number of free try-ons to start, at no cost. Your remaining balance is shown in the app.

What are credit packs?

Credit packs are one-time purchases that add a fixed number of try-ons to your balance. They are not a subscription, they do not renew, and the credits do not expire.

What does the subscription include?

MIRA Unlimited is a monthly auto-renewing subscription that lifts the limit on try-ons. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app before you buy.

I bought credits and they're missing

Open the app and use Restore Purchases (on the paywall, or in Settings → Subscription). Purchases are tied to the store account used at the time of purchase, so make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account. If they still don't appear, email us with your receipt.

Billing & refunds

Who charges me?

All payments are handled by Apple or Google, depending on where you downloaded the app. MIRA never sees or stores your card details.

How do I get a refund?

Because Apple and Google process the payment, refunds are handled by them, not by us:

If a purchase failed but you were still charged, email us and we'll help you chase it.

Cancel a subscription

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Photos & privacy

What happens to my photos?

Photos you upload are used to generate the try-on you asked for. We do not sell them and we do not use them to advertise to you. Try-on images are removed from our storage automatically after 30 days.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing aj@bymira.ai. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Can I upload a photo of someone else?

No. Only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who has given you clear permission. Never upload photos of children.

Troubleshooting

A try-on failed but my credit was used

Failed generations should not consume a credit. If one did, email us with the approximate time it happened and we'll restore it.

The app is stuck on the loading screen

Generation usually takes 15–30 seconds and can take longer on a weak connection. If it's stuck beyond a couple of minutes, close and reopen the app — a completed try-on will still be there.

A pasted link isn't recognised

Some retailers block automated access to their product pages. Upload a photo of the garment instead.

I'm not getting notifications

Check that notifications are enabled for MIRA in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Notifications → MIRA. Android: Settings → Apps → MIRA → Notifications).
